what about registeel and u replace guzzlord with hakamo o or dragonair so u dont have double fighting weakness

I've used a similar team with empoleon up front to punish ice or fairy that comes into my goodra safe swap. I like it much better than skarmory because hydro cannon hits most things hard, but you still have drill peck against a grass if it comes back into empoleon.

To the people wondering about that no shield on the Drill Run: the A Slash blind threw there because he was so close to being taken out and the trainer took a risk by anticipating if they were to blind throw it would more likely be their harder hitting move aka Drill Run instead of an Ice Punch. A risky play, but it does make sense.

What about clodsire lead? Deals with fairy and steel plus a whole bunch of other stuff too. Tanky enough that it generally doesn’t have horrible matchups. Worst case scenario is probably a mudboy lead

They could probably buff feint attack to bring it back, it wouldn’t hurt anything.

The copy teams thing had been there since the PvP was introduced to the game! That’s why GBL the meta is control by co tent creators! If you see a content creator showing a team that the guy did well do a team to take down that team bc that team will be everywhere for at least 24-48 hrs! Lol

I really haven't played ultra League in awhile but I'm getting bored of GL. ANYWAY, used the cres, S Typhlosion, Feraligatar line. I kept getting hard countered. I switched the line up and led with S Typhosion. I just finished my third 4-1 set (12-3 total) and last night had a 5-0. Probably better battlers would have more 5-0. The thunder punch really gives Typhlosion flexibility on the lead.

So I've been running double dragon backline all this season up to about 2600 while trying to think on a Lanturn replacement but the answer is still just Lanturn with water gun. Yeah it'll feel bad when you're used to pre nerf spark but it still works well.

The Shadow Pidgeot typically doesn't run Feather Dance, they're just too fragile to utilize it well enough.

Glad to see the team still working for you Dan! 💪🏼 I’ve used skarm lead with the team before and hit legend that way a couple seasons ago. I run FC instead of BB with this team because you can actually win the 0s vs Basti lead with good timing using FC.

idk but fire seems like a natural fit for double dragons. they resist everything that beats dragons and melts steel and ice. with my limited options i use typhlosion or skeledirge, but salazzle coud be even better for that role with its fire/poison.

I remember using rainy castform in the first couple of seasons. It had decent play against the early meta against things like Skarm, Azu, and A-Wak.

I feel like Castform would be a good safe swap for a double Water gun team with Castform baiting out the Lanturn counter.

Maybe I heard u wrong but u didn't say vig isn't used alot in open gbl? Mostly limited? Do u have any idea how many vigs I fight on open pvp? Too many too where I changed my team just too counter vic...if that team that used scrafty was smart enough he/she would use power up punch instead of thunder punch... That att up is so good n can get too ups very quick...now your counters are doing crazy damage.... scrafty my favorite I have a very good pvp iv gl scrafty that is permanent
